The Real Uganda aims to bring the best prepared, most culturally sensitive volunteers to its partner programs.

We want to empower local leaders and enable local people to improve their lives, on their terms.

We want to show the outside world that Ugandans are in charge of their own development, and are proud to share their progress.

The Real Uganda offers 2 – 12 week locally-led volunteer programs.

In aid of this, The Real Uganda publishes a blog about life, culture, and volunteering in Uganda. This post is a compilation or “Best Of Blog” for our potential and upcoming volunteers.
